This is the official repository for all local authority records of Co.Cork and holds information on the Poor Law Unions and Rural District Councils for most of Co. Cork. There is also Workhouse School Registers from 1873-1904. If you know that your ancestors stayed in one of the Workhouses in Co. Cork, then the Cork Archives Institute will prove invaluable to you.
