Databases Currently Online

Irish Family Research.co.uk ("IFR") provides you with the opportunity to locate information about your Ancestors and other possible relatives who shared your Ancestors' Surname(s), via the hundreds of Searchable Databases available Online. Each Database has been transcribed from Rare 19th Century Genealogical Materials, most of which are Exclusive to Irish Family Research.co.uk.

The most popular Database at present is the Memorials of the Dead, which lists details of Headstones dating back to the early 1500s, and which were painstakingly transcribed in the late 19th Century. The majority of the Headstones transcribed, and the Graveyards mentioned in the Memorials Datbase do not exist today. To find out more about this database, please click here

The Searchable Databases below will provide Full & Premium Members with details of all entries corresponding with the Name Searched. Search results will vary depending on the type of search undertaken. Thus, a Search under any of the Residents and Trade Directories will provide details of the name, address and occupation together with the page number where the entry may be found. A search under any of the Griffiths Valuations will provide details of the name of the Person Searched (if recorded), name of Landlord, Townland & Parish, Ordinance Survey Map Reference Number, Description of Property, Area, and Rateable Value.

In addition to the Searchable Databases, Premium Members can take advantage of our Look-Up Service, where many Residents Directories not yet transcribed, are available for look-up-requests. For more information about the Look-up Service please click here.

We have a number of Free Databases - these are available by clicking on the "Free Trial Databases" Link on our Homepage.
